Likert Scales

Any question that asks people to agree or disagree with a certain statement uses some form of Likert Scale. I'm using a 5 point scale that ranges from 1="disagree strongly" through 5= "agree strongly". Prior studies have revealed that a neutral option must be

provided explicitly and that students are more willing to indicate (dis)agreement if they are offered two levels for the strength of their opinion (Adams et al, 2006).
